n-ACTION Family Network

Minister Barnes was born in Beaumont, Texas, but has resided in Southern California for most of her life.   She is married and has one son.

After receiving her A.A. in Early Education and Child Development, she received her B.A. Degree in Human Studies (a counseling focus) with a minor in Business Administration.  She was inducted into the Honor Society after being on the Dean’s List for several years.
She is an ordained and licensed minister and has served in lay counseling, women’s discipleship groups and mentoring for over twenty years.  She serves on the Board as chaplain and is one of the original founding members.

Prison ministry is a strong call on her life and she has been a volunteer in the penal system for twenty years.  She founded the Unity Troupe Ministries in 1994, which focuses on prison ministry outreach to men, women and youth through bible studies, seminars, preaching and music ministry.
Minister Barnes has a special passion for women.  She is committed to being an instrument of healing to assist women from every walk of life on their journey towards wholeness: spirit, body and emotions.
