Research shows that there is a positive relationship between youth who participate in after school or mentoring programs and positive results associated with academic achievements, improved attendance, and positive peer relationships. For that reason, n-ACTION Family Network (a non-profit/community-based organization) has implemented supportive services to offer a “helping hand” to those non-profit organizations that provides youth outreach programs.

 

S.T.A.R.S. (Striving To Achieve The Right Stuff) provides intervention, mentoring, enrichment opportunities to “At-Risk” and economically challenged students via life skills and character building workshops, mentoring/tutoring, or financial support for field trips.

          As a STARS Outreach Component, n-ACTION family Network has pledge support to recruit a minimum of 100 donations to support the homeless
students in La Mirada in 2010.
For so many of us, we will not miss $25.00 but for a homeless youth, $25.00 will make a world of difference!
